The Grass Roots Series is BACK! After a couple of years in hiding...and after several requests from our customers, we decided to bring back the Grass Roots Tournament Series for the 2008 season!
The ECHO Grass Root Tournament Series was created to fill the void between recreational house-level roller hockey and the very competitive and very expensive world of Elite travel roller hockey. This series provides an opportunity for house-level teams to experience a nationally sanctioned roller hockey event. Without a series like this, house teams would be forced to compete against elite travel teams at a “travel” or “elite” tournament, or miss out on the tournament experience all together.
The main focus of the Grass Root Series is to help keep the sport of roller hockey healthy by developing the area recreation leagues and to promote the concept of “community based” teams.
